An ancient Latin prayer set in English translation for choir and instruments. Flexible voicing is suitable for SATB, 2-pt, unison, vocal solo, or whatever singers are available. The accompaniment is written for organ alone, violin+cello alone, or strings and keyboard together and is also well suited to the piano. The three sections may be performed as a continuous whole, and each part also functions adequately on its own. Reproducible parts for violin and cello are included. The full score features an ossia staff for unison voices.
